Objective
Charades is a fun efl/esl activity where players try to guess the correct word or phrase that is being acted out.
Instructions
1. Players divide into two teams. One team goes out of the room and decides on the word or phrase to act out, and how many syllables it contains.
2. The team comes back into the room, and silently acts out the syllable and category of the secret word or phrase. Some common charade category includes:
Person - stands with hands on hips
Song - pretends to sing with an imaginary microphone.
Movie - draws an invisible large rectangle.
TV Show - draws a small rectangle.
Book - unfolds with hands
3. After the first word is guessed correctly, the actor/actress goes on to second word and third word until the other team guesses the secret word/phrase correctly or time runs out.
