Objective of Guessing Names

This is a name guessing game that can be used as an ice-breaker for new classes, particularly at the start of the school year.

Instructions

1. Select a student to come and sit in the front of the classroom, with his/her back facing turned away from the other students and facing the blackboard.

2. The teacher then points a finger to a student behind the student and asks: "What's your name?" The student must reply "My name is _______" with their real name or the name of another student in the class. Students should try to disguise or answer in an exaggerated voice to make the game more interesting.

3. The teacher must now ask the student in the front "Is it ________?" to which he/she should reply with a "yes" or "no" answer. If the student guesses correctly, they get to stay in the seat, but if the guess is incorrect, he/she changes place with the student who fooled him/her.
