Objective
Letters of the Alphabet is a game that introduces young children to letters of the alphabet. Players try to say a word beginning with a letter.
Instructions
The teacher begins the game by choosing a letter of the alphabet. Each player take turns saying a word that begins with that letter. If a word is repeated, or if the word does not begin with that letter, he/she is out of the game.
Variations
For higher level students, you can place a time limit of 5 seconds for the student to come up with a word. You can also increase the difficulty by making it a rule that the word cannot be in the form of a past tense, or that it needs to be within a general category, or found only in certain places.
