Objective of My Little Bird

The game My Little Bird is suitable for children of all ages, except for the very young. Players say "My little bird" and wave their arms like a bird and names something that can fly.

Instructions

1. Select a volunteer in your class to be the leader. The other children sits or stands in a circle so that they can see the leader.

2. The leader begins the game by saying "My little bird is lively, is lively..." and names something that can fly. For example, "My little bird is lively, is lively. Elephants fly!"

3. If whatever the leader names can fly, all the players must flap their arms like a bird. However if the thing mentioned cannot fly - as with elephants - the players should remain still. Players who wave their arms are out of the game, and the last player remaining in the game is the winner.
