Objective
In Math Addition Game , students play in pairs using a pack of cards. Players must call out the total sum for both cards as they expose them.
Instructions
1. Divide the class into pairs. Next place a pack of playing cards, face down, in front of the players. The cards Jack, Queen, King and the Joker are worth 11, 12, 13 and 14.
2. The first player turns up a card and places it face up. The second player does the same. The first player to call out the total sum of both cards wins, and keeps the two cards. The objective of the game is to end up with the most number of cards.
Variations
Math addition game can be played using multiplication or subtractions.
