Objective
Adverbial Charade is a classroom pantomime. The class calls an activity, while a volunteer peforms a pantomime, acting out the activity in the manner of the adverb. The rest of the class tries to guess what the adverb is.

Instructions
Before class, prepare 10 common adverbs such as "quickly", "patiently", "boldly" and so on, on separate pieces of paper.
1. Select a volunteer from the class to pick an adverb at radom. Without revealing the adverb to anyone, the class must tell the student to do things in pantomime such as "eat in the manner of the adverb" or "sleep in the manner of the adverb" and so on .
2. While the volunteer student performs the pantomime, the rest of class tries to guesses what the adverb is. The student who correctly guesses the adverb, goes up to the front, selects another adverb at radom and repeats the activity.
