1. Instructions

• You are are home alone when the telephone rings, and you answer it.
• A caller will ask to speak to your flatmate, John Rodriguez.
• Joshua has gone out shopping. He will not be home until 4:30PM this afternoon.
• Take a message for John, by using the message pad below.
• Make sure you write down the time of the call, the caller's name, and the caller's telephone number.
• Make sure to check with the caller that make sure your message is correct.

2. Change Roles

• You want to purchase a used car.
• You see a newspaper advertisement for a 1978 Honda Civic.
• The contact person is Lisa Newell, and her contact number is (02) 9864-5015.
• Ring that number now to enquire about the car.
