Objective
In this efl/esl grammar activity learners must construct a sentence from a picture using common prepositions that they have already learnt.
Instructions
1. Bring in pictures from magazines or cut and use the prepositions exercises photo and do a vocabulary review with your class.
2. Shuffle the pictures around and select a picture at radom to show to the class. Next, ask a question that will elicit the use of the preposition such as "where is the lion?" Learners must think of the correct response and write out a short sentence using the correct preoposition. Once a learner has written out four sentences, he/she must shout "Bingo" and read their answers to the class.
Variations:
Another variation of this grammar activity is to include verbs and nouns.
